Flat out

Clearly, running shoes are having an extended fashion moment and while I love a good pair of Cons or Nikes, I’ve been far more resistant to the chunky-soled slip-on resurgence. When I first saw the Céline slip-ons, I was a bit perplexed by their rampant popularity on the blogs. Slowly but surely, their comfy appeal has grown on me and now I’m thinking I need a cool pair of slip-on runners for Spring. Aldo has a Céline-inspired pair on offer and I expect Zara will jump on the slip-on train soon too. What do you think of this early 90s footwear throwback?

Winning combination

Simple coat + chic runners = perfection.

I can’t get enough of stylish coat and trainer combos this Fall, made only chicer by (weather-permitting) bare legs or a suggestive flash of ankle peeking out from under one’s skinny jeans. Who knew ankles could be so sexy?? With even colder conditions on the horizon, this new sartorial erogenous zone will sadly soon have to covered by boots and socks, so let’s flash ’em while we still can.
